Overview

Develop around a clear purpose

Prisoner Armour adds troop statistics, Pilot skills and Core skills. Later seasons raise maximum levels and core ceilings, but earlier utility breakpoints can remain valuable.

Recommended progression

  1. Hercules AEstablish Shooter, gathering and Arrest value.
  2. RangerBuild long-term Shooter combat.
  3. Infercore Pilot-skill breakpointAdd march capacity before broad development.
  4. Phantom CatAdvance general Season 4 combat.
  5. Halo rally-capacity breakpointAdd rally-leader utility where relevant.
Upgrade breakpoints

Prioritise a breakpoint when it unlocks utility used regularly: Light Cone level 60 for Flight Mode, Infercore for march capacity, or Halo for rally capacity. Maximum levels are not automatically the next best target.

Focused versus broad development

Focused progression

Concentrate on the armour matching your primary troop type or role until its chosen skill or core breakpoint is complete.

Broad development

Useful when several troop types and roles are used regularly, after the most valuable Pilot-skill breakpoints are secured.

Common mistakes

  • Upgrading every armour evenly before securing useful Pilot-skill breakpoints.
  • Choosing only by season instead of troop type and intended role.
  • Activating Pluto’s Emergency Shelter without planning the one eligible solo attack.
  • Developing Halo as a general combat choice when rally leadership is not used.
  • Treating undocumented values as confirmed.

Best overall strategy

Secure useful breakpoints, then deepen the active formation

Use Hercules A and Ranger as the early general route, take Infercore to its useful march-capacity breakpoint, then prioritise Phantom Cat for combat and Halo when rally capacity supports your role.
