Quick reference

Build the frontline and backline first

Hero Equipment unlocks with the Arsenal. Every troop type has four separately upgraded pieces, so spreading materials across all twelve delays the strongest breakpoints.

Upgrade and reformation

Level 40Equipment Reformation becomes available.
Reformation 10Required before that piece can move from level 100 to 101.
Level 101A major stat breakpoint worth prioritising.

Upgrade and reformation progress are tracked separately for every piece. Reforming Shieldbearer Gloves does not unlock level 101 for another item.

Materials

Equipment Parts
Standard equipment levels
Precision Gear
Earlier reformation stages and Legendary Tier 1 progression
Magnets
Legendary Tier 2 and higher progression
Potential Coils
Advanced equipment development

Moving one piece from reformation level 1 to 20 requires approximately 420 Precision Gear and 2,000 Magnets. Concentrate these materials on selected pieces.

Recommended priority

  1. Shieldbearer Helmet and ArmorImprove frontline health so the formation remains active for longer.
  2. Shooter Gloves and BootsImprove lethality and increase sustained backline damage.
  3. Reach reformation level 10Prepare each selected piece for the level 100 to 101 breakpoint.
  4. Develop Bomber equipment laterIt can remain roughly 30–40 levels behind until the main formation reaches its targets.

Formation priorities

Frontline

Shieldbearer

Prioritise Helmet and Armor for health. A stronger frontline gives the backline more time to attack.

Backline

Shooter

Prioritise Gloves and Boots for lethality. These are the main offensive equipment targets.

Secondary

Bomber

Invest after the primary breakpoints, when excess parts are available, or when Bombers are central to the formation.

Equipment Part spending sequence
  1. Select one Shieldbearer or Shooter piece approaching a useful breakpoint.
  2. Raise it toward level 100 while building its reformation level.
  3. Reach reformation level 10 on that exact piece.
  4. Reserve enough Equipment Parts to move directly to level 101.
  5. Begin the next priority piece only after completing the target.
Where materials come from

Equipment materials may appear in Intelligence Tasks, activity and progression rewards, temporary rotations, equipment reward systems and resource-selection chests.

Prioritise Intelligence Tasks showing Equipment Parts when equipment advancement is the current objective. Keep selection chests closed until a specific piece and breakpoint are chosen.

Common mistakes

Watch out

  • Upgrading all twelve pieces evenly.
  • Using reformation materials on low-priority equipment.
  • Leaving an important piece at level 100 after it reaches reformation level 10.
  • Prioritising Bomber equipment before frontline and backline targets.
  • Opening resource-selection chests without an immediate objective.

Best overall strategy

Concentrate resources until a priority piece reaches level 101

Build Shieldbearer Helmet and Armor for durability, then Shooter Gloves and Boots for damage. Develop Bomber equipment after the primary formation reaches its intended breakpoints.
