Quick reference
5 steps complete each level
Forticlad progression begins after level 30 during the Age of Forticlad, commonly reported at about server day 70. Each Forticlad level has 5 steps. The costs below show one step at a time; the level totals show all 5 steps.
Materials: FC1–FC5 use Forticlad Cores (FC). FC6 onward also uses Advanced Forticlad Cores (AFC). “FC” and “AFC” match the labels in the cost breakdown.
Example: finish the current step, then choose the next step as your target. The calculator counts only steps after your current completed step.

Suggested upgrade order
This is a practical order for scarce FC and AFC, not an official upgrade rule.
- Warden OfficeKeep the main progression gate moving.
- Main troop barrackPrioritise the troop type used by your strongest formation.
- Other barracksBring the remaining troop types forward when the main line is secure.
- Utility buildingsChoose Communication Center, Command Center or Medical Station according to the account's current bottleneck.
Timing Forticlad upgrades
FC or AFC use and construction speed-ups can score in events. Check Current Focus and the live event task list before starting a large step.
Forticlad Core sources
FC and AFC can appear in different events, missions and shop offers. Availability changes, so check current reward previews before planning around a specific source.
Before committing cores
Watch out
- Confirm all 5 steps needed for the next useful breakpoint.
- Keep enough normal resources to avoid leaving an upgrade half planned.
- Use alliance helps before spending construction speed-ups.
- Do not spread FC or AFC evenly if one building gives the next required unlock.
Best overall strategy
Keep the main progression gate moving
Prioritise the Warden Office, then the barrack supporting the strongest formation. Save enough FC, AFC and normal resources to complete useful 5-step breakpoints.
