Event playbook

Gold Hunter

Earn more gold by keeping marches busy, finding nearby miners and mines, and saving teleports for a better hunting spot.

Quick plan

Play it well

  1. Prepare equipment and event skills before sending marches.
  2. Prioritise nearby Greedy Miners and grouped Gold Mines.
  3. Keep marches active and relocate only when it improves efficiency.
  1. Playbook

    Prepare Before Entering

Gold Hunter rewards efficient activity throughout the event. Before entering, check your equipment and event skills so every march provides as much value as possible.

Equip your best available Jungle Gear and review the Plundering skill. Improving Plundering can increase the value gained during the event, making it a useful long-term upgrade for regular participants.

    Action plan

    Gold Hunter Priorities

Prepare your event setup, keep marches active on nearby Greedy Miners and Gold Mines, then scan and relocate only when the current area stops producing points efficiently.

    Today’s tasks

Equip your best available Jungle Gear and review the Plundering skill before entering.
PrepareA stronger event setup improves the value of every action completed during the scoring window.
Check nearby miners, mines, treasure, and competition before using a teleport.
PositionStay when the starting area already contains several worthwhile targets.
Defeat nearby Greedy Miners and occupy valuable Gold Mines within a sensible travel distance.
FarmPrioritise higher-level mines, including useful Level 3 targets, without crossing the map for one objective.
Choose the next target before the current march finishes.
Stay activeKeep the attack, mine, and target-selection loop moving to minimise idle time.
Scan for a cluster of useful targets before relocating from an exhausted area.
RelocateTeleport for a productive area, not for one isolated mine.
Contest treasure and Underground Trove objectives only when the likely value justifies the competition.
TreasureReturn to miners and mines when stronger players or a lost objective make continued fighting inefficient.
  2. Playbook

    Check the Starting Area First

Do not teleport as soon as you enter. Check the nearby Greedy Miners, Gold Mines, treasure, competing players, and travel distances before deciding whether the starting position is useful.

Stay when several worthwhile targets are close together. A productive starting area saves a teleport and lets you begin scoring immediately.

    What to look for
    • Greedy Miners within a short march.
    • Several Gold Mines close together.
    • Higher-level mines, especially useful Level 3 targets.
    • Treasure opportunities and nearby competition.
  3. Playbook

    Keep Every March Productive

Defeat nearby Greedy Miners while identifying suitable Gold Mines. Prioritise valuable mines that can be reached efficiently, but do not cross the map for one target when several good options are nearby.

Prepare the next action while a march is busy. A steady attack, mine, and target-selection cycle reduces idle time and usually scores better than chasing isolated high-value targets.

    Efficient farming loop
    • Attack a nearby Greedy Miner.
    • Occupy a useful Gold Mine.
    • Identify the next target before the march finishes.
    • Repeat without leaving marches idle.
  4. Playbook

    Scan Before Using a Teleport

Relocate when nearby targets are exhausted, good mines are occupied, or competition makes the area inefficient. Use scanning when available and identify a cluster of useful targets before moving.

Do not teleport for one attractive mine. Clear the current area, scan for a productive cluster, relocate, and begin the farming cycle again.

  5. Playbook

Judge Treasure and Underground Trove Competition

Treasure can provide a valuable scoring boost, particularly Legendary Treasure, but high-value objectives attract competition. Check nearby players, distance, timing, and approaching strength before committing.

Apply the same judgement in the Underground Trove. The objective is to earn points, not win every fight. If a target is already lost or heavily contested by stronger players, return to miners and mines instead of wasting event time.

  6. Playbook

    Score by Value per Minute

Judge an area by the combined value of its targets and the time needed to reach them. A nearby miner followed by two good mines can outperform one excellent mine at the end of a long march.

The strongest routine is simple: farm, mine, scan, move, then repeat. Maintain activity until the event ends and avoid allowing one missed treasure or exhausted area to interrupt the wider scoring plan.

    Common mistakes
    • Teleporting before properly checking the starting area.
    • Travelling too far for one target.
    • Leaving marches idle while searching the map.
    • Relocating without identifying several useful targets.
    • Spending too long fighting over a lost or heavily contested treasure.
